About Dr Nida
Dr. Nida Mirza is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice at The Clinic. She provides individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and across California via telemedicine. Dr. Mirza has expertise in mindfulness and wellness, stress and burnout, diversity and multiculturalism, emotion regulation, and women’s mental health.
She has taught psychology and counseling skills to undergraduate and graduate students as an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University and Palo Alto University. In addition to her teaching and clinical work, Dr. Mirza works as a behavioral health consultant to local startup companies and is a founding member of the Bay Area Muslim Mental Health Professionals’ Crisis Response Team. She is also a Board Member of the Wellesley Club of Silicon Valley.
Prior to private practice, Dr. Mirza completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Kaiser Permanente. She obtained her doctoral degree and master’s degree in clinical psychology from the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wellesley College.
