Maha is a 2nd year PhD in chemical engineering at Stanford University in Jaramillo lab. Her work is focused on making electro catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) at fuel cell cathodes for hydrogen cars. Prior to Stanford, she worked as a field engineer for Schlumberger in oil rigs in Latin America (Colombia). She grew up in Jhang, Pakistan, and is the first woman in her family to pursue engineering, and travel abroad. She has a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from NUST, Islamabad.
